Case Study - Bilstein
In June 2005, Bilstein revolutionized their business and sales process by offering to their distributors the ability to check stock availability at multiple warehouses, review contract pricing, and build and submit purchase orders — all online 24/7. All this — and more — all powered with MIGIR. Bilstein's sales offices were being flooded with calls and faxes daily. The phone lines could not differentiate between a sales order call versus one that was requesting a tracking number on a shipment. Having to answer all the calls put a tremendous burden on the sales team to be able to deliver timely service. They needed an online solution that was both comprehensive and could integrate with their existing business system. Working closely with the Bilstein team, DPI was able to give Bilstein easy-to-use cataloging functionality and data exports that met all their distributors' data needs. DPI was also able to re-design and develop a new website for Bilstein that would match its stature and reputation in the industry; as well as be easy to manage by Bilstein, and be easy to navigate for users — whether they're looking for company information, news & events or the right shock for their application.
